After a place on the cover of Time magazine, this is yet another high for the Desi Girl.

Priyanka Chopra has been acquiring international fame rapidly ever since she joined the TV series Quantico as the main lead.
Earlier this year, the actress featured on the cover of Time magazine. Now, much before her Hollywood debut Baywatch is released, she has got another feather in her cap.
The Bajirao Mastani (2015) star has entered The New Royals list that is compiled by W magazine, an annual feature by the American publication.
Chopra features in the list with the likes of Cindy Crawford, Chris Evans, Jodie Foster, Sofia Coppola, Kanye West, Halle Berry, Rami Malek and Kit Harrington.
Justifying its decision to include Chopra in the list, the magazine said in an official statement on Twitter, “[Priyanka Chopra] has gone from an unknown in America to one of Hollywood's brightest stars.”
The Desi Girl also featured on the cover of the magazine. Delighted by the news, she tweeted, “I love this cover.Thx u @wmag! Such an honor to be named Royalty alongside this insanely talented group #TheRoyals.”
The actress also shared a video in which she is seen speaking about her feat. “Royalty I really feel is not something that you’re born into that you are. It’s a certain quality that when you walk into a room people look or they just need to turn. And that’s when you’re really blue-blooded,” goes an excerpt from the video.
